Tender for Equipping Dedinje 2 Institute Worth EUR 19.96 Million Opens

The EU Delegation to Serbia has opened the tender for the procurement of equipment for the new building of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases “Dedinje 2” in Belgrade.

The procuring entity is the Office for Public Investment Management of the Government of Serbia, and the value of the public procurement has been estimated at EUR 19.96 million, without the VAT.

The tender is split into 12 items and entails the procurement of equipment for the outpatient clinic, the sterilization department, the hybrid operating room, the intensive care unit and the laboratory.

The tender also entails the procurement of digital cardiovascular and neuroangiography systems with additional equipment, ultrasound devices, a telemetry system for patient monitoring, a modern magnetic resonance system, surgical instruments, diagnostics equipment and hospital furniture.

According to the contents of the tender, the procurement is to be financed from the loan that Serbia got from the Council of Europe Development Bank for the enhancement of the health infrastructure in Serbia, as per the agreement on the new building of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases “Dedinje 2”.

Bids may be submitted by August 3, at 11 AM, and other details of the tender can be found HERE.

The construction of the Dedinje 2 Institute started in June 2019, and the director of the Office for Public Investment Management, Marko Blagojevic, announced in February 2020 that the building should be ready for moving in by the summer of 2021.

The new hospital will spread on over 14,000 m2 and has been announced as a national center for heart diseases.
