Delta Holding Planning Investments of Over EUR 900 Million by 2027 – Opening of Hotel InterContinental Announced for Two Years from Now

Delta Holding realized record sales revenues of EUR 860 million in 2023, which is 12% more than in the previous year, whereas the EBITDA (the pre-taxation operating profit) is EUR 88 million – 18% more than last year. They paid EUR 180 million to the budget of Serbia, it was said at the annual conference of the company in Sava Centar.

In 2024, Delta Holding plans an income which will exceed EUR 1 billion for the, more accurately, around EUR 1.07 million (an increase of 25%) and the EBITDA of EUR 110 million, which is an increase of 25%.

According to Milka Vojvodic, the CEO and the senior vice-president for economy and finances of Delta Holding, the company invested more than EUR 140 million in 2023, whereas in 2027, it plans investments of over EUR 900 million.

When it comes to the real estate sector, in the segment of real estate, an investment of EUR 800 million is planned in the next three years.

For this year, Delta has announced the beginning of the works on the Delta Land residential-office concept in Despota Stefana Blvd, Delta Iron office complex in Novi Sad, as well as the beginning of the investment in Delta District in New Belgrade, within which, as announced, the hotel InterContinental of the highest category will open in 2026 to the end of enriching the hotel offer ahead of EXPO 2027, in whose construction EUR 100 million is to be invested.

The hotel business of the company, Delta Hoteli, realized an income of EUR 39 million in 2023, and in this one it plans an income of 42 million.

For Hotel Radisson Collection in Belgrade which Delta bought last year, 236 rooms, 8 conference halls, a wine cellar and a square are planned.

Also, in September this year, the company plans to open the Blue Hall in the renovated Sava Centar, which, as said, will be the biggest congress and concert hall in southeast Europe.

In the sector of agriculture, Delta Holding plans an income of EUR 340 million in this year and a growth of 22%, as well as further development through investments in new technologies and new production facilities of EUR 31 million.

In 2023, Delta Agrar had exports worth EUR 70 million to the markets of 38 countries, from Europe, through the Middle East, to the USA, and 90% of the arable land belonging to the company was mapped in the country.

Delta Auto also had a growth of 28%, with 3,835 vehicles sold, and as much as 40% of the value of the sales of Delta Auto Group in 2023 consisted of vehicles in the price range of over EUR 100,000.

In 2024, the planned investments in this segment amount to more than EUR 30 million, and 20 new models from the company’s portfolio will be presented to the market.


In the e-commerce segment, it was said at the conference that the Ananas platform recorded a remarkable growth in 2023 – two or more Ananas packages were delivered to 94% of postal numbers, and the number of partners grew more the three and a half times compared to 2022.

The aim is for the number of traders to grow to over 2,000 in 2024 and for the total turnover on the website to be over EUR 70 million, it was said at the conference.

Last year, the platform opened its offices in North Macedonia, and this year, entrance to new markets in the region is planned, primarily in Montenegro as soon as the first half of the year, as the company believes that the country has great potential, and then in Bosnia and Herzegovina too at the beginning of the second half of the year. They are also planning openings in Kosovo and Metohija and Albania.

In the sector of logistics and transport, Delta DMD, one of the leading distributors in the region, realized a growth of 24% in the market of Serbia in 2023, and 15% in Montenegro. DTS (Delta transportni sistem) also had an increase of revenues of 14%, and a growth of 34% (EUR 109 million) is planned for this year, as well as a further expansion to the markets of North Macedonia and Albania.
