eAssessor - a platform conquering the region

In times of e-Banking, delivery applications, online stores, e-Invoices and all other available digital services, it is unlikely that even one sector in the future will remain only on the classic services of the client`s arrival at the branch office, paying with cash and signing a bunch of papers. Generations to come are growing up with mobile platforms,
so that non-digital services do not exist for them or are completely unknown to them. Another, very important characteristic of their habits is the speed of service provision. Everything has to happen immediately.

That`s why insurance companies are paying more and more attention to services that will be interesting to new generations in order to gain them as clients, both currently and in the future. Development of online claims reporting, online shop for all types of insurance, these are just some of the steps that insurance companies are taking to digitize their services. Integration of all insurance processes is a serious challenge.

Have you ever had a car or property damage? Most insurance companies offer the possibility to make an online claim report, fill in the information, send the report and then - wait. You are waiting for someone from the insurance company to contact you to assess the damage or to send you a link through which you can send photos. It is an ongoing process. And for that there is a solution.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, since movement was limited, and thus the damage assessment on the ground, ICTS DOO Belgrade developed a platform for online damage photography - eAssessor (eProcenitelj), which in the past four years with its new versions and improvements, has become one of the most represented platforms for damage photography and insurance coverage in the region. The goal was to allow the client to determine himself when he will do the damage photography, without visiting the insurance company.

eAssessor (eProcenitelj) is an app intended for use in insurance companies, for the purposes of damage assessment and insurance acceptance, without the assessor going to the client`s location or the client visiting the insurance office. The app is web based, adapted for use on mobile and tablet devices, without the need for the client to install any additional applications.

eAssessor (eProcenitelj) is used in the following insurance areas:

- Car damage

- Property damage

- Transport insurance

- Casco Insurance

- and all other cases.

By integrating the application using a fully open API, it is possible to report damage or buy insurance online, the client chooses the option to photograph the insurance item himself, and the application will automatically deliver the link to him via email, SMS or Viber, simultaneously with the app submission, which significantly shortens the time of solving the request.

Main features of the app are:

- Automated process of damage photographing of the subject of insurance and in acceptance into insurance

- Support for any type of browser and mobile device without installing the app on the device

- Providing the client with an evaluation link, by e-mail, SMS or Viber message

- Predefined photography procedures for the client. The necessary steps with graphic and textual description for the positions to be photographed are automatically opened to the client, which documentation to submit, and to answer predefined questions in the forms.

- Automatic data submission to the assessor

- Display of client location

- OCR of personal document data

- Taking photos without the assessor being present

- Customer satisfaction questionnaires

- Adaptive design according to corporate standards

- Easy translation to any language

Practice shows that the majority of insurance companies that use the application, managed in just one year to redirect up to 40% of classic assessments to online photography, which resulted in serious savings of resources and money, speeding up the payment process and increasing customer satisfaction.

By constantly listening to the needs of insurance companies and their customers, eAssessor is constantly developing and gaining new capabilities, primarily in the part of automation of request processing, as well as user experience with the app.

Currently, eAssessor (eProcenitelj) is represented in insurance companies in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia, with plans to expand to the European market.
